The short version
This website collects nothing about you. There's no analytics, no tracking, no advertising network, no embedded video, no social media widget and no third-party font or script. Every file the site needs is served from the site itself.
If you write to the company, it keeps what you sent so it can answer you. That's the whole of it.
If you write or telephone
When you send an enquiry by e-mail or letter, or telephone the company, it will hold your name, your contact details and whatever you chose to tell it. It uses that to deal with your enquiry and, where the enquiry leads to business, to perform the resulting contract and meet the record-keeping obligations that come with it.
The lawful bases are the company’s legitimate interest in answering enquiries put to it, the performance of a contract where one follows, and compliance with legal obligations such as tax and company law.
How long it's kept
Enquiries that don't lead to business are kept only as long as there's a reason to, and then disposed of. Records connected with a transaction are kept for the periods required by tax and company law, which is generally six years from the end of the accounting period concerned.
Who else sees it
Your information isn't sold, and it's not passed to anyone for their own marketing. It may be seen by the company’s accountants, its professional advisers, or a public authority where the law requires disclosure.
Your rights
You may ask what the company holds about you and receive a copy; ask for a correction; ask for erasure; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and ask for processing to be restricted while a question is resolved. Write to the registered office and the company will deal with it.
If you're unhappy with the response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, which regulates data protection in the United Kingdom.
